More than 10,000 visitors and over 100 exhibitors came together at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel on 22 February 2025. A mixture of expert presentations, fitness programs, check-ups and product offerings from the lifestyle, sports and nutrition sectors created variety.
The iHCDP was represented by Dr. Mirjam Münch, Dr. med. Corrado Garbazza, Prof. Dr. Christian Cajochen, Nadja Schaubhut, Béatrice Anderlohr and Zoe Kalkandelen and had its booth in the check-up area. In addition to expert information on the topics of light and sleep, there was also an interactive part: visitors were able to determine their chronotype and sleep quality using a questionnaire. The Munich ChronoType Questionaire (MCTQ) and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) were used for this purpose. After taking the test, visitors were able to discuss their results with the experts and received further information material and guidance on offers of assistance. A total of 145 people completed the test.
Visitors also had the opportunity to measure the light spectrum of their smartphones.
The booth was very busy throughout the day and the iHCDP team registered a great deal of interest in the topic of ‘sleep and light’.
