From June 13-16, 2025, the 36th Annual Meeting of the Society for Light, Rhythms, and Circadian Health (SLRCH) took place at Simmons University and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. The iHCDP was represented by Dr. Corrado Garbazza, Dr. Mirjam Münch and Gunnar Deuring, who presented current research findings and exchanged ideas with leading experts in chronobiology and light research.

The program offered a wide range of topics – from molecular mechanisms of circadian rhythms to light interventions in patients with psychiatric disorders and innovative applications in clinical practice.
Dr. med. Corrado Garbazza, current president of the SLRCH, welcomed the participants and chaired the first two lectures of the meeting as well as a keynote lecture in the field of basic research and a review of the past year.
Dr. Mirjam Münch gave a lecture in the field of clinical research and circadian medicine on her current study topic “Personalized Multimodal Circadian Intervention Study in Older Adults with Poor Sleep Quality” and chaired the Industry Symposium.
Gunnar Deuring presented his poster on “Wearable light dosimeter with RGB sensors – a practical approach to determine melanopic EDI for daylight measures”.
In addition to the presentations and discussion panels, the Annual Meeting offered numerous other opportunities for professional exchange – for example at the Data Blitz, the poster presentations and the gala dinner.
