Dr. Anna Magdalena Biller
Postdoc, Circadian Visual Neuroscience, PhD
Anna Magdalena Biller studied Psychology and Neurosciences in the UK (University of Kent & University College London), before moving to Munich where she did her PhD in Chronobiology and Sleep in the Roenneberg lab. She now works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University in Munich with Prof. Manuel Spitschan where she studies light exposure behaviour, sleep and chronobiology. She is interested in the factors that determine how we sleep in real-life, every day, on a personal level and what we can do to improve our circadian health. Specifically, she has become interested in the role of (day)light for circadian health and how to design interventions to help prevent circadian misalignment and support healthy lifestyles long-term.
